Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for Designing Lighting systems -
Exterior lighting
Head lamp, Tail lamp, Fog lamps, Side Repeaters & other small lamps &
Interior lighting
Roof lamps for Passenger Vans, Utility Vehicles.
Responsible for defining specifications for exterior & Interior lighting
Responsible for 3D CAD modelling & vehicle level packaging in
CATIA V5
Supporting Team Leader in executing development plan as per R&D process
Dealing with different suppliers and internal agencies to ensure timely delivery.
Interaction with lighting suppliers for lamp development & testing.
Dealing with different third party test agencies for Vehicle /sub system /aggregate prototype tests.
Knowledge of automotive Electrical & Electronics systems of Passenger Vans, Utility Vehicles - Functional, design aspects, Application & integration. Understanding of the functional and physical interactions between vehicle sub-systems.
