AM / Manager- Statutory Audit

As a candidate for this role, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the execution of external audit engagements for various clients. Your key responsibilities will include: - Managing large, medium scale multi-location assignments effectively - Identifying business development opportunities and expanding the client base - Prioritizing tasks, working on multiple assignments, and managing ambiguity - Understanding and adhering to the Firm's Quality and Risk Management procedures - Leading and motivating a team of Managers, Assistant Managers, Executives, and Audit Assistants to deliver high-quality work - Assisting in the career development of team members and ensuring proper deployment of the audit staff - Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with clients and adapting to different work environments - Meeting challenging client requirements and providing exceptional service - Willingness and ability to travel as needed Desired Skills & Expertise: - Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards - Reasonable knowledge of IFRS - Proficiency in Auditing Standards including clarified ISAs - Familiarity with statutory compliance under various laws such as the income tax act, sales tax, etc. - Experience in managing audits of listed entities - Excellent communication skills in English, both speaking and writing - Effective interpersonal, risk management, facilitation, and presentation skills The job requires a candidate who possesses the mentioned qualifications and is ready to take on the responsibilities outlined above.,
