Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • To educate dealers on CLS, its purpose & features
  • To brief dealers and their sales staff complete product details of each range of CLS, our USPs, competition benchmarking & value to the customers
  • To get CLS sales training done of the dealers sales staff educating them on selling arguments for each CLS product
  • To train dealers and their sales staff to focus on promotion of concept selling rather than doing product selling
  • To ensure Maximum display at dealers showrooms in the given space
  • To ensure suitable branding and maintain Brand Hygiene at all costs
  • To set example by personally handling customers at the dealer's counter to demonstrate how the product knowledge and selling arguments are to be used to sell products at company price
  • To ensure price discipline at all dealers counters
  • To convert dealers into exclusive dealers
  • To educate project key decision makers on CLS, its purpose & features
  • To ensure BOQs / Mock-ups in the initial stages of the project and subsequently secure the orders
  • To maintain data in company given software of each customer handled by you at the dealers' counter and to follow up till maturity / conversion to sales
  • To take other important customers leads from the dealers who visited for follow up at dealers counters
  • To follow up with trade customers who patronize respective dealer counters and educate them on CLS, products details, our USPs, competition benchmarking
  • To convince these trade customers and generate customers leads from them

Functional Requirements

  • Experience in working with dealers/ channel partners
  • Technical knowledge of Lighting portfolio
  • Ability to gather sound product knowledge
  • Ability to catch on to leads and cues from everywhere possible
  • Ability to establish & maintain a wide network of resources
  • Strongly and effective follow up ability
  • Abiliting to attain market understanding
  • Knowledge of competitor mapping
  • Experience in coordinating at various levels and leading to effective result delivery
  • Expertise in creating brand presence & visibility
