Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an All-rounder Sous Chef, located in Hyderabad. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in preparing and presenting various types of dishes, ensuring quality standards and creativity. Responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, maintaining food hygiene and safety standards, monitoring ingredient stock, and ensuring effective kitchen operations. The candidate will have the opportunity to explore innovative culinary practices and actively contribute to menu planning and development.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in cooking techniques across multiple cuisines, recipe preparation, and plating
  • Strong skills in kitchen management, staff supervision, and maintaining operations under pressure
  • Understanding of food hygiene, safety regulations, and waste management practices
  • Ability to contribute to menu development and introduce creative culinary ideas
  • Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • Professional culinary training or certification is desirable
