Job Summary

Salesforce QA Tester

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  end-to-end functional, system, regression, and integration testing

  for Salesforce applications.
• Validate Salesforce configuration, custom objects, workflows, triggers, Apex classes, Lightning components, and third-party integrations.
  
• Create detailed

  test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  based on business requirements and user stories.
• Execute

  manual and automation test cases

  and report results.
• Work with

  business analysts, developers, and product owners

  to ensure requirement clarity and issue resolution.
• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools such as Postman/SoapUI.
• Manage

  defect tracking and reporting

  using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
• Ensure test coverage using defined quality processes and best practices.
  
• Support UAT and coordinate with stakeholders.
  
• Maintain QA documentation and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 46 years of experience in

  QA testing

  , with at least

  2–3 years of Salesforce testing

  experience.
• Strong knowledge of

  Salesforce Clouds (Sales / Service / Experience / Marketing)

  and Lightning components.
• Hand-on experience in

  writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test strategy planning

  .
• Experience testing

  Apex, SOQL, data validation, workflows, and security roles/profiles

  .
• Experience with

  REST/SOAP API testing

  and familiarity with integration flows across Salesforce.
• Good understanding of

  SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies

  , and DevOps CI/CD concepts.
• Experience with

  test automation frameworks

  such as Selenium, Provar, UFT, or Tricentis (good to have).
• Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal).
  

Preferred / Good to Have

• Salesforce Admin (ADM-201) or QA certification.
  
• Experience with

  Provar or Selenium automation

  for Salesforce.
• Knowledge of database testing and SOQL queries.
  
• Exposure to MuleSoft or other middleware platforms.
  

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
