Airport Ground Staff

Airport Ground Staff are responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of flights on the ground. They provide services to passengers before boarding, assist in flight preparation, manage baggage, coordinate with pilots and cabin crew, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

2. Key Responsibilities:

Passenger Services:

• Greet and assist passengers at check-in counters, boarding gates, and arrival areas.
  
• Verify travel documents, issue boarding passes, and check baggage.
  
• Handle passenger inquiries and resolve issues regarding flight schedules, delays, or cancellations.
  
• Provide special assistance to elderly passengers, people with disabilities, and unaccompanied minors.
  

Baggage Handling:

• Ensure proper labeling, loading, and unloading of passenger baggage.
  
• Coordinate with baggage claim and lost & found departments.
  

Flight Operations Support:

• Coordinate between pilots, cabin crew, and air traffic control for smooth departure and arrival.
  
• Ensure aircraft turnaround procedures are completed on time (cleaning, fueling, catering, etc.).
  
• Update flight information systems and maintain accurate records.
  

Security and Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to all airport and airline safety protocols.
  
• Conduct security checks and ensure restricted areas are secure.
  
• Report and handle any suspicious activity or security breaches.
  

3. Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:

  Minimum 10+2 (High School Diploma) or Bachelors Degree preferred.

• Experience:

  Prior experience in aviation, customer service, or hospitality is an advantage.

4. Work Environment:

• Fast-paced, shift-based work (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
