Airline Ticketing Executive

As an Airline Ticketing Executive at Dream World Tours, you will play a crucial role in handling airline ticket bookings, reservations, cancellations, and ensuring exceptional customer service for both domestic and international travel. You will be responsible for managing airline ticket sales, bookings, re-bookings, and cancellations efficiently. Additionally, you will coordinate with airlines to confirm seats, manage flight schedules, and process necessary changes. Issuing, reissuing, and providing refunds for flight tickets in accordance with airline guidelines will also be part of your responsibilities. Your role will involve offering accurate travel information, explaining baggage rules, and ensuring customers have the necessary documentation for their journey. During peak seasons, you will focus on delivering a seamless travel experience to all customers. Key Responsibilities: - Manage airline ticket sales, bookings, re-bookings, and cancellations effectively. - Coordinate with airlines to confirm seats, manage flight schedules, and process changes. - Issue, reissue, and process refunds for flight tickets following airline guidelines. - Provide accurate travel information, explain baggage rules, and ensure necessary documentation. - Ensure a smooth travel experience for customers, especially during peak seasons. Desired Candidate Profile: - Minimum 2 years of experience in airline ticketing or reservations. - Knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) would be advantageous. - Good understanding of domestic and international flight booking processes. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: - Graduation in any discipline. Diploma in Travel & Tourism/IATA Certification preferred but not mandatory. Key Skills: - Airline Ticketing, Air Reservation, Domestic Ticketing, International Ticketing, Flight Booking, Travel Desk, Refunds, Reissue, GDS (Amadeus/Galileo) proficiency is an added advantage.
