About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer who can independently design, build, and manage scalable backend systems using FastAPI, Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud (AWS / Azure) platforms.
You will work closely with our AI team to integrate Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Computer Vision models into production environments.

This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, responsible, and passionate about end-to-end ownership of backend and AI integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain FastAPI-based backend systems.
• Deploy and manage applications using AWS and Azure cloud services.
• Containerize and orchestrate services with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to integrate Python-based ML/DL pipelines.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and resource utilization.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure, reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot complex backend and cloud integration issues independently.
• Document, test, and maintain code quality and version control with Git.

Required Skills

• Backend Framework: FastAPI (expert-level proficiency)
• Programming: Python (OOP, async programming, API design)
• AI & Data: NumPy, OpenCV, TensorFlow / PyTorch (integration experience)
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions / Jenkins
• Databases: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB
• Version Control: Git / GitHub
• Others: REST APIs, microservices, containerization, CI/CD

Preferred Knowledge

• Strong background in AI model deployment and MLOps.
• Experience in cloud cost optimization, logging, and monitoring tools.
• Understanding of API security, authentication, and scalability patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead backend tasks end-to-end.
• Must be currently residing in Gurugram or nearby areas (on-site interviews).
