Job Description

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of AI Agents and corresponding multi-agent patterns and integration of Agentic AI into existing UIs and products.- Operate genAI software and Agentic AI on IBM Cloud, automating tools and processes on IBM mainframes- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, implementing creative solutions to drive business value- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative products- Provide direction, coaching, and mentoring to increase team capabilities- Ensure effective communication and integration planning for swift issue resolution- Deliver against established goals and objectives Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise - 10+ years of industry experience

- 3-5 years of experience as a genAI software engineer in a distributed or mainframe environment

- 3-5 years of experience managing, guiding, and mentoring a team of engineers
- 3-5 years proven experience in IBMs product development organization as lead development engineer- Proficiency in Python, Java, git and github- Proficiency and proven (code) experience with LLMs from IBM (Granite) and at least one other vendor (Facebook, OpenAI, Anthropic)- Experience building genAI software- Experience building agenticAI software with Lang graph, crew.ai or ibm bee, langfuse, MCP- Experience with watsonx.orchestrate

- Experience with devops and ci/ci practices

- Demonstrated track record of success as a development Lead Engineer

- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills

- Ability to partner seamlessly with cross-functional teams for shared success

- Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Preferred technical and professional experience - Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift environments

- Experience with public clouds (AWS, Azure, IBM Cloud)

- Configuration-as-Code development (Ansible)

- Infrastructure-as-Code development (Terraform)

- Exposure to Mainframe Development Practices
