Job Description

Backend / AI Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs using
FastAPI
.
Build and integrate
LLM-powered features
(prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG pipelines).
Deploy and manage applications using
Docker
and
Kubernetes
.
Optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.
Integrate external services, databases, and vector stores.
Collaborate with product, ML, and DevOps teams in an
Agile environment
.
Ensure security, monitoring, and logging best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience with
Python
and
FastAPI
.
Hands-on experience working with
Large Language Models (LLMs)
.
Experience with
containerization using Docker
.
Practical experience deploying and managing workloads on
Kubernetes
.
Experience with RESTful APIs and backend architecture.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
Experience with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and vector databases is a plus.

Good to Have

Experience with
RAG frameworks
(LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
Knowledge of
CI/CD pipelines
and GitOps practices.
Exposure to
model serving, monitoring, and cost optimization
.
Experience with MLOps practices and tools.
