AI & Automation Engineering Intern

About the Project

We are developing an advanced Voice AI Agent capable of making high-volume outbound sales calls with a local Indian voice, achieving higher conversion rates through natural, human-like interactions. This AI system will be integrated with virtual Indian numbers for seamless, scalable calling.

Role Overview

As an AI/ML Intern, you will contribute to designing, training, and deploying a conversational AI system that can handle large-scale daily outbound calls for sales. You will work closely with the engineering team to optimize speech synthesis, speech recognition, and dialogue management for the Indian market.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in building and fine-tuning speech-to-text (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) systems with natural Indian accents.
• Implement and optimize dialogue flow for outbound sales conversations.
• Integrate the AI agent with virtual phone numbers and calling APIs (e.g., Twilio, Exotel, Knowlarity).
• Work on NLP models to handle objections, responses, and dynamic conversation branching.
• Analyze call data to improve conversion rates and conversational performance.
• Test the AI agent at scale to ensure quality across thousands of daily calls.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) fundamentals.
• Experience with Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Familiarity with speech processing libraries (e.g., Vosk, Coqui TTS, OpenAI Whisper).
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration with telecom APIs.
• Problem-solving skills and an interest in sales conversational design.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills

• Experience with Indian language models and accent adaptation in TTS.
• Knowledge of Rasa, Dialogflow, or similar conversational AI frameworks.
• Familiarity with call analytics and CRM integrations.
• Exposure to scalable cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, Azure).
