Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fisheries Technician located in Begusarai & Dharbhanga. The Agronomist cum Fisheries Technician will be responsible for planning and conducting research on soil science, plant nutrition, and irrigation practices to improve crop yield and quality. Daily tasks include analyzing soil samples, developing sustainable farming techniques, and advising on crop management practices. The Agronomist cum Fisheries Technician will collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal production and environmentally sustainable practices. The Agronomist cum Fisheries Technician will be responsible for managing and maintaining fisheries operations, monitoring fish health, and conducting fieldwork. Daily tasks include monitoring water quality, feeding fish, recording growth data, and ensuring compliance with fisheries management practices.


Experiences

  • Experience (2-5 Yrs) in conducting Aquaponics, Polyhouse, Hi-Tech Agricultural Research, & Fisheries.
  • Strong understanding of eco-friendly, sustainable, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, observational, and data recording skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage labour & time effectively
  • Proficiency in Soil Science and Plant Nutrition
  • Knowledge of Agriculture and Irrigation practices
  • Experience with eco-friendly farming practices is a plus
  • Knowledge of Fisheries Management and fieldwork practices
  • Ability to work in outdoor environments and handle physical tasks


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Fisheries Science, or a related field
  • Relevant certifications or training in fisheries management
  • Relevant certifications or training in Aquaponics, Polyhouse, and Hi-Tech Agricultural Research
