Agricultural Engineer

As an Agricultural Engineer at JC Farms in Sivakasi, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining farm infrastructure, machinery, irrigation systems, and other agricultural facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Gain expertise in various farming machinery, understanding the types used for different farming tasks, and ensuring cost-effective selection and maintenance of equipment. - Oversee daily farm operations, make visits to the farm as needed, and work on expanding marketing efforts by engaging with local farmers and the agricultural community. - Stay updated on the latest advancements in agricultural technologies, bring new ideas and innovations to improve farming efficiency and sustainability, and work with farmers to improve soil fertility and recommend agriculture techniques. - Ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations, provide technical support and training to workers on machinery use and troubleshooting. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering. - Minimum of 1 or 2 years' experience in farm maintenance, machinery handling, or irrigation system management.
