AGM/DGM-Finance & Accounts

Role & responsibilities

Finance:

• Responsible for overseeing the entire financial activities & Accounts at the plant level.
• Preparation of working capital forecasts in coordination with other department heads at the plant
• Ensure accurate accounting of inventory (raw material, work in-process, waste and finished goods) for managing future forecasting and working capital management
• Review the budget versus actuals and highlight any discrepancies to the Plant Head
• Ensure effective utilization of funds at plant level
• Review daily and monthly detailed variance analysis on conversion cost and investigate for resolution
• Support the BU Head in inventory costing, NPD costing and price variance at various levels on a regular basis
• Proactively scrutinize and identify potential for cost savings
• Monitor process improvement along with GST implementation as per changing norms, ensure identification & implementation of savings in supply chain
• Monitor tax registration, tax compliance and minimize / maximize tax payments / recovery and all related analysis & support
• Ensure compliance with all the statutory provisions and liaison with various statutory bodies for various sanctions and permits.
• Ensure timely financial reporting / MIS in terms of Product profitability, customer profitability, red parts reporting and quarterly financials etc.

Accounts:

• Responsible for overseeing the entire accounts activities at the plant.
• Oversee and ensure timely closing of monthly and annual accounts for the plant
• Ensure compliance of all applicable accounting policies and standards
• Ensure timely and correct payments to all vendors in alignment with the companys policies
• Conduct daily and monthly detailed variance analysis on conversion cost and investigate for resolution
• Assist the Plant Finance head in inventory costing and price variance on a regular basis and inform the costing team
• Manage the internal audit processes ensure an improved score and statutory compliance
• Ensure timely generation and authenticity of monthly MIS Reports and its timely submission
• Drive process improvement along with updaton in GST implementation as per changing norms
• Ensure timely documentation and maintenance of record on SAP

Taxation:

• Implementation of tax policies, procedures and internal controls in the plant operations in coordination with the F&A team
• Remain abreast with latest development / changes in taxation laws
• Analyze, interpret and model the impact of new and proposed tax legislation on the company
• Ensure tax registration, tax compliance and minimize / maximize tax payments / recovery and all related analysis & support
• Responsible for evaluation and compliance with the emerging requirements under GST laws
• Administer and implement and filing of monthly GST
• Calculate the liabilities, ensure timely deposit of the same.
• Liaison with the third parties – auditors and tax authorities.
• Ensure timely and appropriate closure of all audit queries and comments
• Ensure that all documents pertaining to taxation are filed in a secure manner and are easily retrievable
• Ensure reconciliation of tax liability and tax accounts in General Ledger as per statutory accounting procedures

Preferred candidate profile

CA Qualified Mandatory with work experience from 4w Automotive Parts manufacturing companies

Experience Range:

12-16 Years Post CA Qualified

Technical: IndAS/IFRS, Costing, GST, Capex, Forex, SAP, IATF Awareness

Functional: AOP, Program Costing, Inventory Control, Quotations, Customer Profitability
