AGM/DGM - Credit Risk/Underwriting

Key Responsibilities: Lead the credit underwriting process for working capital, supply chain finance, and other funding solutions for corporate clients. Drive the development and implementation of credit policies, underwriting procedures, and monitoring frameworks to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee a team of professionals, providing guidance, training, and leadership to ensure optimal performance and consistent delivery of credit risk assessments. Conduct in-depth credit analysis, risk evaluations, and financial appraisals for both new and existing corporate clients, ensuring risk mitigation through proper structuring of deals. Prepare and present credit proposals to the Sanctioning Committee for approval, ensuring all relevant factors are considered in the decision-making process. Monitor the credit portfolio performance, conducting periodic reviews, stock audits, and evaluations of the overdue management process. Collaborate with the business development teams to understand customer requirements, recommend suitable financial products, and ensure that credit decisions align with business goals. Design and implement tools, automate risk management processes, and improve turnaround times for credit decision-making. Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of credit risk MIS and reporting to senior management and other stakeholders. Monitor compliance with risk and regulatory requirements and continuously improve the risk management framework for better portfolio health. Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 12-15 years of experience in Credit Underwriting, Supply Chain Finance, SME & Mid Corporate Funding, and Credit Risk Monitoring. Leadership: Proven ability to lead a team of professionals across various regions, ensuring effective performance, training, and development.
