Job Description

As the Assistant General Manager of Sales, your primary role is to lead and manage the overall sales operations of the dealership. Your focus should be on achieving sales targets, ensuring profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and maintaining adherence to company standards. You will also be responsible for overseeing sales teams, implementing effective strategies, and driving business growth through your strong leadership and market insight. Key Responsibilities: - Plan, develop, and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets. - Monitor sales performance across all branches and ensure the achievement of business goals. - Ensure proper stock management, model mix planning, and inventory control. - Conduct periodic sales reviews and performance evaluations of the sales team. - Supervise and mentor Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Executives. - Set performance goals, motivate the team, and ensure continuous skill development. - Conduct regular training and coaching sessions to improve product knowledge and customer handling skills. - Maintain strong relationships with key customers and corporate clients. - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle escalated customer concerns effectively. - Oversee the implementation of CRM systems and follow-up processes. - Identify new business opportunities, including fleet, corporate, and institutional sales. - Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional activities, events, and local campaigns. - Analyze market trends and competitor performance to support strategic decisions. - Ensure adherence to dealership SOPs, manufacturer guidelines, and company policies. - Coordinate with finance, insurance, and RTO departments for smooth operations. - Review documentation, approvals, and reporting accuracy. - Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management. - Monitor profit margins, expenses, and incentive schemes. Qualifications & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). - Minimum 8-12 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. - Proven track record in achieving sales targets and leading large sales teams.
