AGM - Facade Design

AGM Facade - based in Airoli, Navi Mumbai

The AGM Faade will oversee the design, development, and execution of faade systems for construction projects. This role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that faade systems meet aesthetic, performance, and budgetary requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in faade engineering, project management, and construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Planning:

• Coordinating and interacting with Architects & Consultants regarding the design submissions along with queries and clarify the same
• Review faade designs, ensuring compliance with building codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for proposed faade systems.

2. Project Management:

• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources related to faade work.
• Sequencing of the work as per project schedule.
• To check the survey conducted by the contractor in coordination with in- house team.
• Planning and arranging the panels as per project milestone.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues promptly.
• Periodic visits to Fabricators factory for monitoring quality and project plan.
• Attend review meetings with the contractors.
• Preparing project status and monitor the progress with respect to project milestones.
• Check and certify the vendor’s invoice.
• To ensure the work carried out is in line with the approved drawings and vendor make list.
• Control the variation claims of the vendors.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to source materials and services required for faade construction.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Provide technical guidance on faade systems, including material selection, structural integrity, and thermal performance.
• Resolve technical issues related to faade design and installation.
• Ensure that all faade work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

4. Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and coordination.
• Prepare and present progress reports, design proposals, and technical documents to stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with faade suppliers and subcontractors.

5. Quality Control:

• Implement and oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures for faade works.
• Conduct performance tests and inspections to ensure the faade systems meet the required standards.
• Address any defects or deficiencies in faade work promptly.

6. Innovation and Sustainability:

• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in faade engineering and construction.
• Promote sustainable and energy-efficient faade solutions.
• Encourage innovation in faade design and construction processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong experience in faade design, engineering, or construction management.
• Strong knowledge of faade materials, systems, and installation methods.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design and project management tools.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
