Job Description

Agile Coach

Agile Coaches Planned events, outcomes and KPIs

Candidate shall develop training plans, and adhere with key performance indicators (KPIs) with respect to Agile Coach initiatives as detailed hereunder:

a) promote Agile adoption and mindset, enhancing team dynamics, working with senior management, developing Agile skills, and measuring value/Return of Investment (ROI);

b) develop training plans that encompass all listed training and on-demand training; and

The KPIs are categorized into Agile transformation & adoption, coaching & mentoring, team performance & delivery improvement, training & workshops, stakeholder engagement & change management and Agile Governance & Best Practices.

1. Training and Agile mindset development:

1.Coach, Train and facilitate Product Operating Model Adoption and Improvement:

a. Promoting Product Operating Model Mindset:

Candidate shall support individuals and teams to understand and adopt the Agile mindset and product operating model and ensure the team follows methodology to truly embracing the principles of agility.

b. Supporting Change Management:

Candidate shall guide the teams to change, address resistance and to adapt new ways of working.

c. Enabling Continuous Improvement:

Candidate shall:

  • educate and encourage a culture of continuous improvement and guide the teams to identify opportunities and implement changes to enhance the processes and outcomes; and
  • execute techniques from multiple Agile approaches including kanban, extreme programming (Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD), pair programming, etc.) and guide the teams to adopt AI entablements.

2. Enhancing Team Dynamics and Collaboration:

a. Building High-Performing Teams:

Candidate shall help the teams to develop the skills and tools that require to work effectively together, fostering collaboration, communication, and shared responsibility.

b. Facilitating Effective Communication:

Candidate shall promote open communication and collaboration and help the teams to break down silos and work towards common goals.

c. Supporting Team Coaching:

Candidate shall work directly with teams and help the team to identify challenges to overcome the obstacles, improve the performance.

3. Working with Senior Management and Stakeholders (Internal and External):

a. Alignment with Business and GTS Senior Management:

Candidate shall:

  • ensure Agile coaches work with senior management to understand the value of Agile practice and support implementation.
  • operate at domain level/product area levels by collaborating with the chapter leads on upcoming chapter launches and review the progress periodically with leadership.
  • plan and rollout, role-based and other training as needed which enables the organization to work more efficiently in product operating model.
  • work with content providers in Agile Transformation Office (ATO) to maintain knowledge repository in microsites.
  • spearhead Agile maturity assessments at team/product/product area levels to create visibility on Agile maturity progression.
  • support the Global Technology Solutions (GTS) & business partnerships in all agile events and actively address impediments; and
  • work with GTS and business leadership to bring visibility on capacity allocation for the upcoming Big Room Planning (BRPs).

b. Aligning with Business Objectives:

Candidate shall ensure that Agile practices are aligned with the organization's overall business expectations/requirement and help teams deliver, value that aligns with business expectations/requirement.

c. Supporting Agile Transformation:

Candidate shall ensure Agile coaches play a crucial role in leading and supporting organizational transformations to embrace Agile practices across Enterprise level.

4. Developing Agile Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate shall:

a. providing Agile Training: provide training and education to help individuals and teams to develop Agile skills and knowledge; and

b. supporting Certification: assist individuals to prepare for and achieve Agile certifications.

5. Measuring and Demonstrating Value:

a. Tracking Key Metrics:

Candidate shall

  • ensure Agile coaches guide the teams to track key metrics to demonstrate the value of Agile practices and identify areas for improvement; and
  • ensure champion practices towards tracking progress and achievement of Observes and Key Results (OKRs) and KPIs

b. Providing Data-Driven Insights

Candidate shall use data to provide insights and support decision-making and help organization informed about the choices of Agile implementation.

6. Demonstrating Return of Investment (ROI):

Candidate shall ensure Agile coaches strive to demonstrate the return on investment of Agile practices, both in terms of cost savings and increased business value.

B) Training Plans:

Candidate shall ensure Agile Coaches to handle all listed training in the given link, also observe and advice any additional training required and facilitate any additional on demand training.
