As an Agent at FedEx Logistics, your role will involve supporting Operations and leading a joint express/forwarding cargo movement initiative. This forwarding role requires experience in both warehouse and operation back office environments. You will be responsible for rotating duties between the forwarding office and the CFS. Your duties at the CFS will include supervising cargo unloading, conducting dimension measurements and scanning, verifying load plans against freight received, and making necessary load plan adjustments. At the forwarding office, you will be responsible for timely receipt of shipment details such as pieces count, G.W. and C. W, as well as dimensions to ensure any necessary adjustment of load plan is carried out promptly. It will be crucial for you to ensure that operation milestones are met from shipment acceptance at CFS to actual departure. Additionally, you will assist the Operations Lead in compiling KPI measurements and reports. Please note that overnight duties may be required.
