The role of Agent at FedEx Logistics is to support Operations and lead closely on a joint express/forwarding cargo movement initiative. This forwarding role requires the candidate to have experience in both warehouse and operation back office environments. The responsibilities will involve rotation of duties between the forwarding office and CFS, which includes supervision of cargo unloading, dimension measurements and scanning, verifying load plans against freight received, and making necessary load plan adjustments. In the forwarding office, timely receipt of shipment details such as pieces count, G.W., C.W., and dimensions is crucial to ensure any adjustment of load plan is carried out promptly. It is important to ensure that operation milestones are met from shipment acceptance at CFS to actual departure. Additionally, the role involves assisting the Operations Lead in compiling KPI measurements and reports. Overnight duties may be required as part of the role.
