Job Title: Manager / Senior Manager International Business (SEA / Africa Region)

Location: Goregaon.

Department: International Business

Compensation: Up to 2022 LPA (CTC)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead and expand our international business operations across the Africa / SEA region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working hands-on in African / SEA markets, with strong relationships across key stakeholders including Ministries of Health (MOH). This role demands a strategic thinker with excellent market insight, presentation skills, and a passion for business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive business growth for narcotic and controlled substances in SEA & African markets

  • Manage and grow existing business across multiple African / SEA territories
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, partnerships, and distribution channels
  • Liaise with local MOH and regulatory bodies to expedite product registrations
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking to inform strategy
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Travel extensively across the region to build relationships and drive growth
  • Navigate complex regulatory frameworks including NDPS Act, INCB guidelines, and country-specific narcotics laws
  • Coordinate with Ministries of Health, Drug Control Authorities, and Import Licensing Agencies for product registration and approvals.
  • Ensure full compliance with export documentation (Form 10/11, NOC, import permits, etc.)

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 810 years of experience in international business, specifically in Africa / SEA
  • Strong network and working relationships with African / SEA MOH and regulatory authorities

  • Ensure compliance with INCB, NDPS Act, and country-specific narcotics laws
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market trends and data
  • Willingness to travel frequently across African countries.
  • Awareness of African Medicines Agency (AMA) and African Medicines Regulatory Harmonization (AMRH) initiatives.

  • Knowledge of ASEAN Common Technical Requirements (ACTRs) and ASEAN Common Technical Document (ACTD) for drug registration.

  • Understanding of country-specific narcotics laws

  • Preferably male candidate
