WE ARE HIRING - Experienced Title: Aerospace R&D Engineer – Propulsion, Aerodynamics, CFD, Avionics & Structures (Multidisciplinary Role) Location: Chennai Company: Dr. MGR. Educational and Research Institute (ARI- IOT) Type: Full-time | On-site Aerospace Engineers · Design of propulsion systems, aerodynamics, flight mechanics. · Specialized in launch vehicle structure and dynamics. Propulsion Engineers · Develop engines (solid, liquid, hybrid). · Handle combustion physics, fuel systems, and thrust control. Mechanical Engineers · Structural integrity, material selection, thermal systems. · Integration of moving parts and mechanical assemblies. Job Description Sample (Condensed Multi-role): We are seeking a passionate and multidisciplinary Aerospace Engineer to join our early-stage rocketry team. The ideal candidate will have experience in: Designing propulsion systems (solid/liquid) Aerodynamic modelling and flight dynamics Structural and thermal analysis Nozzle design and CFD simulation Material selection for high-temperature/high-stress environments Design and integration of avionics subsystems (telemetry, GPS, INS, embedded systems) Preferred Qualifications: M. Tech, & Ph.D. in Aerospace, Mechanical, Avionics, or related fields Experience with Ansys, MATLAB/Simulink, Open Rocket, SolidWorks, or similar tools Hands-on experience with small rocket systems, engines, UAVs, or embedded platforms 🔬 Advanced Skills ( M.Tech / Ph.D. Candidates): Advanced thermo-fluid simulations (e.g., reacting flows, multiphase flows in propulsion) Proficiency in high-fidelity FEA and CFD tools : Fluent, CFX, Abaqus, LS-DYNA, STAR-CCM+ In-depth understanding of aeroelasticity, flutter, and structural dynamics Research experience or publications in propulsion, avionics, or launch vehicle design Development of custom Python/Matlab scripts for simulation automation and data analysis Experience in model-based design and digital twin technologies Deep familiarity with nonlinear materials , composite modeling , or thermal barrier coatings Ability to mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical documentation, and lead technical proposals Prior involvement in national-level research projects, ISRO/DRDO collaborations , or academic labs is a plus Salary Details: 2 years experience : ₹25,000–₹30,000/month (Negotiable for exceptional candidates) 4 years experience : ₹40,000/month (Negotiable for exceptional candidates & Based on previous salary) Apply Below link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe_lM-MS5L6RcgkG1Q01zhGUtFHRC2hVtF9zhZ4fiRPatPMxw/viewform?usp=header
