Position Overview

Aerospace Program Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage

  end-to-end aerospace programs

  , ensuring successful delivery of engineering, design, and manufacturing milestones.
• Act as the

  primary point of contact

  for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring alignment with program requirements.
• Define program scope, objectives, and success criteria in alignment with business and customer needs.
• Develop and monitor

  program schedules, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management plans

  .
• Coordinate across design, stress, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and certification teams to achieve program deliverables.
• Lead

  program reviews (internal and customer-facing)

  , presenting progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to

  aerospace standards (AS9100, FAA/EASA/CS/FAR compliance)

  and organizational quality processes.
• Drive continuous improvement, lean practices, and innovation in program execution.
• Mentor project managers, engineers, and team leaders to enhance program management maturity across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in

  Aerospace Engineering / Mechanical Engineering

  (MBA/PMP certification preferred).

• 12–18 years

  of experience in aerospace, with at least

  5+ years in program/project management

  .
• Proven track record of leading

  large, complex aerospace programs

  (structures, composites, interiors, systems, or propulsion).
• Strong knowledge of

  program management methodologies

  (PMP/PRINCE2/Agile).
• Hands-on understanding of aerospace design tools (

  CATIA V5/V6, PLM systems

  ) and engineering workflows.
• Experience working with

  global OEMs/Tier-1 suppliers

  and managing multi-site teams.

Desired Skills

• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to manage

  program financials (cost, revenue, margin, cash flow)
