Advanced R&D Engr/Scientist

As the Operational at our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of R&D Capital projects within the agreed constraints of time, resources, and budget. Your key duties will include supervising final negotiations, providing execution strategies, and ensuring the signing of the project schedule baseline by all involved parties at the project's commencement. Throughout the execution phase, you will oversee the overall project schedule, manage the project team, and work towards achieving project goals and objectives. In this role, you will lead the project team to improve cost, schedule, quality, and EHS targets. Proper risk and opportunity management will be crucial, along with conducting negotiations with clients, partners, and contractors. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and conducting Project Reviews as required, as well as developing and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and contractors to ensure project operations run smoothly and disputes are resolved efficiently. You will be tasked with owning the project execution processes and tools, establishing and maintaining operating standards to ensure quality project outcomes and customer satisfaction. Furthermore, capturing lessons learned and best practices will be essential for continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will also include following and promoting HS&E policies, advising on safe design and operation of facilities, evaluating project feasibility, ensuring compliance with CTQ requirements, and conducting techno-economic analyses. You will also be responsible for maintaining the technical knowledge base for pilot plant engineering and integrating technological developments into your area of expertise. As a qualified candidate, you should hold a Chemical Engineering Degree from a reputable institute with 8-10 years of relevant work experience. Eligibility to travel to the US is a must, and additional qualifications in designing for gas, oil, petrochemical, power, or refining industries would be advantageous.
