Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Assist the AME Project Manager in NPI tasks for designing and launching new manufacturing production lines. - Coordinate prototype manufacturing activities including prototyping, purchasing/logistics, schedule, and budget. - Create and maintain AME deliverables related to new production such as PFD, PFMEA, QCP, and manufacturing BOMs. - Participate in design and DFA/DFM reviews to influence design for manufacturability. - Act as a liaison between contract manufacturer (CM), engineering, and procurement for component packaging requirements. - Develop and track manufacturing KPIs to support company goals and initiatives. - Support company initiatives including cost reduction and quality targets. - Travel 25-50% of the time depending on production maturity, including possible international travel. - Perform other tasks as required by the AME Project Manager or AME Management. Qualifications Required: - Broad and deep experience in product development and manufacturing within an OEM and/or Tier I supplier community. - Experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role. - Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly with high volume, low-mix production. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a manufacturing NPI role. - Knowledge of manufacturing metrics such as OEE and yield, and experience in establishing or tracking KPIs. - Knowledge of quality methods and requirements including APQP, ISO9001, TS16949, and global OEM development systems. - Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent education. - Ability to travel to CM locations with little advanced notice.,
