Job Description

Mandatory :

Minimum of 15 years of experience in Automotive Industry in manufacturing engineering preferably with Side Door latches, Tail Gate latches, Window Lifting mechanism
Required hands on experience in riveting, greasing, screwing, vision system, sealant application etc.
Exposure to develop semiautomatic and fully automatic assembly lines with equipment suppliers.
Hands on experience on Latches & Window regulators End of line testing equipments, data traceability etc
Thorough understanding of GD&T, Tolerance stack-up, Engineering Material properties, DFA/DFM concepts, ergonomics & Poka-yokes while proposing any change in the manufacturing set-up as well as designing new manufacturing lines.
Knowledge of Industrial engineering tools MOST/MTM, work measurement, line balancing.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Line Balancing, VSM, SMED and OEE etc, Continuous Improvements, Low- Cost Automation,
Six Sigma tools- (Preferred Knowledge on DOE, Process Capability, Gage R &R)
Experience in working with the quote team for capital investment & labour time estimation
Working knowledge of IATF Audits (other applicable standards for automotive industry).
Knowledge about Electronics will be added advantage.
