As an Admissions Officer, you will play a crucial role in the successful conversion of prospective students into confirmed admissions for the university. Your responsibilities will include: - Participating in educational events, college fairs, information sessions, and admission activities as a representative of the university. - Maintaining regular communication with students, parents, colleagues, and external agencies to coordinate admission activities effectively. - Ensuring the achievement of target metrics by converting prospective students into confirmed admissions and meeting performance goals. Reviewing student applications for eligibility and academic qualifications. - Participating in the decision-making process for student admissions based on university policies and guidelines. - Preparing and presenting applicant reports to the college management. - Demonstrating excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students and stakeholders. - Assisting students in understanding application procedures and obtaining necessary documentation for the application process. - Meeting multiple stakeholders and student prospects to convert prospective calls while adhering to deadlines. - Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment and collaborating effectively within a team. - Providing support to students throughout the admission process by addressing queries and assisting in completing required documents. - Being self-motivated, a strong team player with a positive attitude, and possessing excellent time-management skills. Qualifications required for this role include: - Strong network with schools and colleges in the Higher Education sector. - Knowledge of application procedures and eligibility criteria. - Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
