Admissions Counsellor

As an Admissions Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process and assisting them in achieving their academic goals. Your responsibilities will include: - Serving as the initial point of contact for prospective students, offering accurate information on programs, admission requirements, and application procedures. - Responding to inquiries through various channels such as phone, email, and in-person meetings. - Conducting informational sessions, campus tours, and open houses to engage prospective students and their families. - Counseling students and parents on career pathways and program suitability based on their interests and qualifications. - Assisting applicants throughout the admissions process, from application submission to interview scheduling. - Collaborating with the marketing team to execute outreach campaigns and events. - Following up with leads and inquiries to ensure timely communication and updates. - Maintaining accurate records of interactions with prospective students and updating the admissions database regularly. - Monitoring application progress and providing status updates to applicants. - Working closely with academic departments to understand program offerings and updates. - Contributing to the achievement of enrollment targets by meeting individual and team goals. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Master's degree preferred). - 1-3 years of experience in admissions, sales, customer service, or a related field. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. - Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. - Experience in education counseling or student advisory roles is an advantage. As an Admissions Counsellor, you are expected to possess key competencies such as a customer-centric approach, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, persuasive communication and presentation skills, and the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.,
