Job Description: Admission Counselor

Organization: Indian Institute of Governance and Leadership (IIGL)

Work Location: Vasant Kunj, New Delhi

Job Type: Full-Time (In-Person)

Salary: ₹25000 per month (fixed)

Work Timing: Monday to Saturday, 8.45 AM to 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

1. Student Counseling:

• Handle inquiries from prospective students through phone calls, emails, and walk-ins.
• Provide detailed information about IIGL’s programs, eligibility criteria, admission processes, and benefits.
• Assist students in understanding program options and guide them in making informed decisions.

2. Communication & Coordination:

• Proactively call and follow up with leads generated through various channels.
• Respond promptly and professionally to all student queries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions in a systematic manner.

3. Conversion:

• Persuade and convince prospective students to enroll in IIGL’s courses.
• Work towards achieving enrollment targets set by the management.

4. Support:

• Assist in admission procedures, form submissions, and fee payments.
• Provide support during orientation sessions or admission-related events.

Skills & Qualifications

• Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Convincing Power: Ability to build rapport with students and effectively convey program benefits.
• Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, patient, and empathetic approach to counseling.
• Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple inquiries efficiently.

Eligibility Criteria

• Prior experience in counseling, sales, or a related field is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Candidates must be comfortable with an in-person work environment and strict adherence to work timings.
