Hiring Now: Admission Counsellor – College & Upskilling Programs Location: Kolkata | Job Type: Full-Time | Pay: ₹15,000–₹40,000/month Experience: 1–3 years in Ed-tech sales and admission or equivalet (Freshers with excellent English welcome) Company: Tutopia Pvt. We’re looking for a proactive, empathetic, and persuasive Admission Counsellor to guide students and parents through our academic and skill-based programs. You'll play a key role in driving enrollments and building long-term learner relationships. Responsibilities Connect with potential students via calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person. Understand learner goals and recommend relevant Tutopia programs. Manage end-to-end admissions: inquiry → counselling → enrollment → onboarding. Keep records updated in CRM tools. Achieve monthly conversion targets. Collaborate on marketing campaigns, webinars, and info sessions. Stay updated on educational and upskilling trends. * ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Cold Calling. 2. Explain simply and clearly in response to customer questions and check for customer understanding and acceptance. 3. Suggesting to customers the best upgrade plan and doing up-selling. 4. Customer retention. 5. Have to be excellent in Sales. 6. Book demos. 7. Conduct Demos. 8. Convert the demos to sales. You Should Have Bachelor’s degree (Education, Psychology, or Business preferred). 1–3 years in counselling, admissions, or B2C sales (Freshers with strong English skills may apply). Excellent spoken and written English. Problem-solving mindset and persuasive communication. Familiarity with CRM and digital tools. A passion for education and helping students succeed.
