Position Overview

The Admission Counsellor is responsible for student outreach, counselling, and enrolment for undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs. The role involves guiding students and parents through course selection, eligibility, admission processes, documentation, and fee payment, while meeting enrolment targets.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counselling & Conversion

Counsel prospective students and parents on UG/PG degree programs (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA, etc.)

Understand student profiles, career goals, and recommend suitable programs

Convert inquiries into admissions through effective follow-ups and counselling

Handle walk-ins, phone calls, WhatsApp, emails, and CRM lead

Lead Management & Follow-ups

Manage and update student leads in the CRM system

Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure timely conversion

Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, and admissions

Admission Process Support

Explain eligibility criteria, entrance requirements, scholarships, and fee structures

Assist students with application forms, document verification, and payment processes

Coordinate with internal teams for offer letters and admission confirmation

Outreach & Promotion

Support education fairs, school/college visits, seminars, and webinars

Coordinate with marketing teams for lead generation activities

Build relationships with schools, coaching centres, and education partners

Reporting & Compliance

Achieve assigned monthly and seasonal admission targets

Prepare daily/weekly admission reports

Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory guidelines

Eligibility & Qualifications

Education

Graduate in any discipline

Experience

0–4 years of experience in admissions, education sales, counselling, or student recruitment

Experience in degree colleges, universities, or EdTech is an advantage

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Convincing and counselling ability

Basic knowledge of higher education programs and admission processes

CRM usage and MS Office proficiency

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
