Administrative Associate

Role Overview: The School of Environment and Sustainability (SES) at IIHS is seeking an Administrative Associate for the School Office. This is a contractual position for an initial term of 11 months, with the potential to become a regular position over time. The role involves supporting the School Office in various tasks under the guidance of the Lead of the School Office. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the School's Data Management activities, which includes: - Managing student data - Handling curriculum management - Managing teaching schedules - Updating teacher profiles - Maintaining student attendance records - Keeping records of all School projects - Aid in School budget development, maintenance, and management - Assist in maintaining School relations and MoUs - Drafting emails on behalf of the School Office for various needs and activities - Support School leadership in developing documents related to the School's requirements - Coordinate with the Academic Office at IIHS for necessary information - Provide assistance to other IIHS activities including academics, research, training, and operations - Participate in Institution-Building activities at IIHS and carry out assigned tasks - Travel on IIHS work within the country as required Qualifications Required: - A Master's degree in any discipline, preferably in management - Around 2 years of previous experience, preferably in academic management - Proficiency in English with strong writing and communication skills - Expertise in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records Additional Details: The position is based in Bengaluru and may involve travel to other locations in India.
