Adaptive Planning Modeler (Workday)

As an Adaptive Planning Modeler at Autodesk, you will be a key player in the Finance Transformation team. Your role involves designing, building, implementing, and maintaining Workday Adaptive Planning-based solutions to shape the future of connected forecasting and planning in Finance. You will be translating business processes into sophisticated multi-dimensional Adaptive Planning models, maintaining existing models, and authoring technical documentation to ensure accuracy and uptime. Your responsibilities also include participating in the development of data integration pipelines, identifying and remedying technical debt, and monitoring data processing workflows. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business processes into sophisticated multi-dimensional Adaptive Planning models - Maintain existing Adaptive Planning models and incorporate new functionality - Author technical documentation explaining model construction and deployment procedures - Participate in data integration pipeline development and monitoring data processing workflows - Identify and address technical debt to ensure high model health - Participate in scrum team activities and build relationships with stakeholders - Conduct user acceptance testing, script writing, and deployment activities - Provide hands-on training and support to end users - Follow Adaptive Planning model building best practices and standards Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of Workday Adaptive Planning Model Building experience - Strong finance background and ability to speak the finance language of the business - Experience with Lean, Agile, and other iterative work practices - Proficiency in Excel and other planning and forecasting tools - Experience with Workday solutions is a plus - Strong quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail - Adaptability to work in different team settings - Desire to learn and contribute to the Adaptive Planning community - Excellent communication skills and ability to switch between technical and business-focused topics - Courage to speak up with divergent views and drive solutions - Workday Pro Adaptive Planning Certification About Autodesk: Autodesk is a company that helps innovators turn their ideas into reality, creating amazing things with software.
