Actuarial Consultant

As a member of the team at MetLife, your main role will be to support the development, testing, and deployment of Actuarial Models in alignment with MetLife's Global Actuarial Modeling coding standards. You will have the responsibility to oversee modeling efforts and collaborate with stakeholders to test, analyze, and quantify the impacts of model changes. Your tasks will also include supporting production model runs in a controlled environment to minimize model risk. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations, taking charge of audit processes, regulators" requests, and other related tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development, testing, and deployment of Actuarial Models - Oversee modeling efforts and engage with stakeholders for analysis and testing - Support production model runs to minimize model risk - Ensure compliance with regulations and handle audit and regulators" requests - Support in specification and validation of new valuation methodologies, models, and product implementations - Assist in automation projects and production steward reviews for new product pricing - Participate actively in UAT tests, valuations, and modeling of new products Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics - Strong understanding of actuarial principles and modeling techniques - Experience in working with valuation methodologies and models - Proficiency in coding languages such as R, Python, or SAS would be advantageous MetLife, a renowned financial services company, is recognized for its dedication to excellence and innovation.
