Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts and Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our company s accounting and tax compliance processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and tax regulations, as well as experience working with financial software and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA qualification or equivalent certification preferred
  • Proven experience in accounting and tax compliance roles, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, SAP
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations (specific to your region or country)
Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll and employee expenses
  • Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns, including income tax, VAT/GST, and other regulatory filings
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable tax requirements
  • Conduct internal audits and reviews to identify and address areas of potential risk or non-compliance
  • Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to support annual audits and tax planning activities
  • Provide financial analysis and support to management for decision-making purposes
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
