Accounts Receivable Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments through calls, emails, and reminders
• Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable records
• Track aging of receivables and escalate overdue accounts as required
• Apply receipts and payments to customer accounts in accounting software
• Coordinate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
• Prepare and share regular reports on receivables, collections, and customer balances
• Assist in monthly closing activities and audits related to AR
• Process credit/debit notes and support reconciliations with customers
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent degree in Finance or Accounting
• Minimum 3- 4 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reporting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience in handling B2B receivables
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance (India-specific)
• Exposure to ERP systems
