Accounts Receivable

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, ensuring that aging is up to date, and applying credits and collections while accounting for uncollectible amounts. You will also be tasked with resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Generating and distributing customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner will be a crucial part of your role. Reconciling customer accounts, following up on outstanding balances, and preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports will be essential duties. You will need to present insights derived from these reports to management. Keeping organized and up-to-date records of all receivable transactions and ensuring compliance with company accounting policies and financial controls are key aspects of this position. To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping principles. Attention to detail and accuracy are crucial, along with excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting tools is required, and experience with QuickBooks Online would be advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Ideally, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts receivable or general accounting role is preferred for this position. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires in-person work.,
