Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the full-cycle accounts payable process across multiple entities using

  Workday

  financials, including invoice entry, approval routing, payment processing, and vendor management.
• Ensure all invoices are accurately coded, entered, and approved in Workday in a timely manner.
  
• Perform regular reconciliation of accounts payable sub-ledger to general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  
• Maintain vendor records in Workday, ensuring accurate W-9s, tax IDs, and payment instructions.
  
• Address internal and external inquiries related to payments, invoice status, and vendor setup with professionalism and timeliness.
  
• Monitor aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
  
• Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals and expense reconciliations.
  
• Prepare and maintain supporting documentation for internal controls and external audit requirements.
  
• Continuously review AP workflows in Workday and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and control.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years using

  Workday

  as the primary financial system
• Strong knowledge of AP workflows, vendor onboarding, and payment processing
  
• Proficiency in Excel, including use of VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and formula-based analysis
  
• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  
• Experience working with U.S.-based accounting teams and familiarity with U.S. GAAP
  
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  
• Experience with multi-entity or global companies is a plus
