Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist

As a Finance & Accounting professional at our client's forward-thinking Romanian company specializing in advanced waste management solutions, you will play a crucial role in supporting the vision for a circular and sustainable economy. Your responsibilities will include: - Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies. - Assisting with month-end closing by preparing AP reports and reconciliations. - Generating and issuing invoices to customers accurately and on time. - Maintaining customer account reconciliations and resolving billing queries. - Preparing AR aging reports and supporting credit control activities. - Recording daily financial transactions in the accounting system with accuracy and timeliness. - Handling bank reconciliations, journal entries, and cash flow tracking. - Supporting general ledger postings and assisting in audit preparation. - Ensuring compliance with internal accounting policies and external regulatory requirements. - Identifying and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Good knowledge of transaction processing and financial record-keeping. - Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., MS Navision, QuickBooks, or equivalent). - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus. - Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management. - Good communication and problem-solving skills. - Fluent in English (written and verbal).
