Role Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Executive with at least 2 years of relevant experience to join our finance team in Bangalore. The role involves managing vendor invoice processing, employee reimbursements, reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organized, and meticulous in maintaining financial accuracy.
Role Responsibilities:
- Process and verify vendor invoices, employee reimbursements, and expense claims accurately and within defined timelines.
- Review invoices for correctness, ensuring that supporting documents, approvals, and expense coding are in line with company policies and accounting standards.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including GST, TDS, and other applicable tax requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, debit/credit notes, and payment confirmations for audit and reporting purposes.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities such as accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong working knowledge of accounts payable processes, vendor management, and accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/Accounting software such as Tally and Zoho. Exposure to P2P and expense management tools will be considered an added advantage.
- Good understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data validation tools.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable or Finance operations.
