Role & responsibilities

1. Accounting & Financial Management

• Supervise and maintain day-to-day accounting operations for the Bangalore center.
  
• Record all financial transactions in

  Tally / ERP software

  accurately and timely.
• Ensure proper documentation and accounting of all sales, purchases, expenses, and inventory.
  
• Handle

  month-end and year-end closing

  of accounts and ensure timely submission to Head Office.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Review vendor invoices, ensure proper approvals, and process timely payments.
  
• Maintain vendor and customer reconciliation statements.
  
• Manage petty cash and ensure accurate expense booking.
  
• Follow up for receivables and ensure customer payments are received on time.
  

3. Statutory Compliance

• Handle

  GST computation, input reconciliation, and return preparation

  .
• Manage

  TDS deduction, payment, and return filing

  .
• Support external auditors and coordinate for audit schedules and documentation.
  

4. Banking & Cash Flow

• Prepare

  bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

  on a regular basis.
• Coordinate fund transfers, cheque deposits, and cash flow tracking.
  
• Monitor daily cash transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports for management review.
  
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, and Head Office Accounts teams for data consolidation.
  
• Provide financial inputs for budgeting and cost control at the center level.
  

6. Team & Process Oversight

• Guide junior accounts staff in maintaining accurate records.
  
• Ensure all accounting policies and internal controls are adhered to.
  
• Assist management in implementing better accounting practices and systems.
