Accounts & Finance Asst Manager

As the Accounts & Finance Manager at AGN Gold & Diamonds, your role will involve overseeing various financial aspects of the business in Thrissur, Kerala, and Coimbatore. You will report directly to the Director and work as an Individual Contributor. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of financial tasks and strategic planning to ensure the company's financial health and compliance with regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee the timely and accurate entry of daily accounting and stock transactions. - Ensure daily closing reports are diligently completed and verified for accuracy. - Manage the month-end closing process up to the balance sheet level and oversee the finalization of accounts. - Consolidate accounts and financial statements for two retail showrooms in Thrissur district and the manufacturing unit in Coimbatore. - Coordinate and manage internal audits, ensuring financial accuracy and transparency. - Ensure compliance with Indian financial regulations, including GST, TDS, and other tax laws. - Manage GST returns, TDS returns, personal tax returns, and other tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. - Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's growth objectives. - Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale clients, ensuring effective communication and financial integrity. - Understand and assess the company's current accounting systems and practices, implement better SOPs for improved compliance. - Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments within the company. - Train and mentor the accounting team to adopt and maintain new practices. - Manage all purchase and sourcing documentation, ensuring accuracy and responsibility in communication. - Collate and manage a list of vendors and stakeholders, including cross-border partners. **Preferred Skills & Qualifications:** - Immediate joiners with experience in the jewellery sector will be given preference. - Experience of 3-5 years in a similar role, preferably in the retail/wholesale/ecommerce jewellery industry. - Proficient in Indian financial regulations, compliance, and taxation. - Proficiency in English, Hindi, and Tamil is highly desirable. - Strong command of accounting software and financial systems. - Excellent communication and relationship management skills. - Willingness to travel within India, up to three times a year. - Masters Degree, CA Intermediate preferred.
