Accounts Executive

Role & responsibilities:

Process and Record Transactions:

Record financial transactions including receipts and journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.

Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies and accounting standards.

Expense Management:

Conduct checks and verifications of employee expense reimbursements to ensure compliance with company policy.

Intercompany Transactions:

Handle inter-company billings and settlements efficiently.

Manage and reconcile intercompany balances.

Vendor and Bank Reconciliation:

Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities related to payables and receivables.

Manage vendor queries professionally and ensure timely resolution.

Perform regular bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items.

Reconciliations and Reporting:

Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and ensure all reconciliations are completed and reviewed.

Maintain accurate supporting documentation for audit and compliance.

Month-End / Year-End Closing:

Support the Finance team in closing books at month-end and year-end.

Prepare audit schedules and provide documentation and explanations to both internal and external auditors.

Preferred candidate profile:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional accounting certification (e.g., CA Inter, ACCA, CPA) is a plus.

2-4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and MS Excel.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
