Accounts Executive - GST- Compliance

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Executive with a strong focus on GST compliance and financial reporting. The candidate will be responsible for managing GST filings, maintaining accurate books of accounts, and ensuring timely tax payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
• Reconcile GSTR 2A/2B with purchase records and coordinate with vendors for mismatches
• Handle Input Tax Credit (ITC) calculations and utilization
• Manage and record daily accounting transactions in Tally or other ERP software
• Maintain records of sales, purchases, and expenses with proper documentation
• Coordinate with CA/auditor for tax audits and assessments
• Generate reports for internal use – P&L, balance sheet, TDS summaries, etc.
• Ensure timely payment of GST, TDS, and professional tax
• Liaise with vendors, customers, and government authorities regarding tax queries

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.Com/M.Com or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4 years of experience in accounting with a focus on GST filing and reconciliation
• Proficient in Tally ERP, Excel, and basic MS Office tools
• Strong knowledge of Indian GST laws, ITC rules, and deadlines
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines

Preferred:

• Experience in a manufacturing or product-based company
• Experience coordinating with external auditors or tax consultants

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
