Accounts Executive (Finance Department)

Summary:

IOL is a software business which distributes hotel room availability and rates from most of the World’s leading chains to tour operators and travel agents. This involves processes and reconciling very large volumes of data. The accountant is responsible for ensuring the integrity of this data. The accountant ensures that the payments we make to suppliers are accurate and that payments received from customers are reconciled and disputes resolved in a timely manner. This is a fully office-based position in India.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Reconciling data held in our processing systems against client statements and card charge data.
• Preparing client statements.
• Reconciling payments received from customers against bookings made; identifying discrepancies and working with the investigations team to have them resolved as quickly as possible.
• Preparing hotel and supplier payments.
• Preparing buyer and supplier partner payments.
• Ensuring that data is being accurately captured in our accounting system.

Experience Required:

• At least 4+ years' experience working with and reconciling large sets of data.

• At least 2 year’s experience working with clients to reconcile client statements

• A degree in accountancy or finance

• Individual must be highly numerate and enjoy resolving complex transaction/data issues.

• Proven track record resolving payment related problems.

• Proficient in MS Excel
