Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting Operations

Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including
sales, purchases, payments, receipts, and journal entries
in
SAP
.
Process vendor and customer invoices, credit notes, and debit notes as per company policy.
Ensure
accurate data entry and general ledger maintenance
in SAP.

Banking & Reconciliations

Perform
bank reconciliations
,
vendor and customer account reconciliations
, and resolve mismatches.
Monitor and manage
cash flows
, fund transfers, and petty cash.

Taxation & Compliance

Assist in the preparation and filing of
GST returns, TDS, and other statutory filings
.
Coordinate with consultants for audits and compliance requirements.

Reporting & Documentation

Generate
financial reports, ledgers, and MIS
from SAP as required by the management.
Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and internal controls.

Hands-on experience in SAP
is a must.
Strong knowledge of
basic accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting
.
Experience working in the
chemical or manufacturing industry
is preferred.
Good understanding of
GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
.
