Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Maintenance & Operations

Perform
routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance
of electrical systems and equipment including transformers, motors, MCCs, VFDs, switchgears, LT/HT panels, and lighting systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out troubleshooting of electrical circuits and power systems to minimize downtime.

Plant Utility & Equipment Support

Support utility equipment such as
boilers, chillers, air compressors, pumps
, etc., with proper electrical connectivity and reliability.
Maintain backup power systems including
DG sets, UPS, and emergency lighting
systems.

Safety & Compliance

Ensure all electrical installations comply with
IEC/IS standards
, local electrical safety codes, and
statutory regulations (such as Factory Act and IE Rules)
.
Participate in
safety audits, energy audits
, and maintain records for compliance inspections.

Project & Documentation Support

Assist in
electrical project execution
, panel installations, wiring, and layout design.
Maintain all technical documents, circuit diagrams, load schedules, maintenance records, and logbooks.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for electrical service and support as required.
