Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Record and process customer invoices, receipts, and payments accurately in the accounting system.
Follow up with clients via email or phone for outstanding invoices and ensure timely collections.
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Assist in preparing aging reports and highlight overdue accounts to management.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices, receipts, and customer correspondence.
Coordinate with the sales and operations teams for invoice clarifications and payment disputes.
Support in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare daily/weekly collection reports for management review.
Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
0–2 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software Tally prime
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and numerical aptitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
