Job Description

Handle day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and maintain financial records related to sales, purchases, and inventory specific to automobile business operations.
Monitor dealer/vendor accounts, ensure timely payments, and follow up on receivables.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
Reconcile stock and inventory accounts (vehicles, spare parts, accessories) with physical records.
Support in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and government regulations.
Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable).
Record and process journal entries, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support in managing vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
Assist with bank reconciliations and petty cash management.

Help prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings

Qualifications & Skills Required:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Work experience as an Accounts Executive, the

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and statutory compliances.
Proficiency in accounting software Tally and MS Excel.
