The Accounts Executive will be instrumental in managing and maintaining financial discipline for the Akshadhaa Assisted Living project.
This includes ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, maintaining tight financial control on construction activities, and managing cash flow. The candidate will primarily work from the city office in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru, and will regularly travel to the Somenahalli site to verify bills, validate expenses, and oversee financial aspects of the construction activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of ac- counts in compliance with accounting standards.
Monitor and record daily financial transactions and prepare periodic financial reports, including profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Compliance and Statutory Filings
Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Monitor regulatory changes and implement up- dates as needed to maintain compliance.
Coordinate with external auditors and Char- tered Accountant firms for audits and financial reporting.
Construction Expense Oversight
Verify and evaluate bills, invoices, and expens- es against construction contracts and also site visits.
Ensure construction-related financial transac- tions are justified, documented, and aligned with budgetary norms.
Maintain tight controls to prevent overpayments or financial discrepancies.
Cash Flow Management
Plan, monitor, and manage cash flows to support operational and project activities.
Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide actionable insights for financial planning.
Vendor and Contractor Management
Review and process payments to vendors and contractors, ensuring adherence to agreed terms.
Reconcile financial records with vendor invoices to ensure accuracy.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to facilitate financial and operational activities.
Liaise with banks and financial institutions for transactions and other operational needs.
Key Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (essential).
Professional certifications like CA Intermediate, MBA in Finance, or equivalent will be advanta- geous.
Experience
5+ years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
Prior experience in a Chartered Accountant’s
firm is mandatory.
Substantial experience managing organizational accounts over an extended period.
Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and MS Office, particularly Excel. Analytical and problem-solving skills to evalu- ate contracts and manage construction-related financials.
High attention to detail to maintain financial ac- curacy and compliance.
Strong organizational skills to manage priorities
effectively and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
Additional Requirements
Willingness to travel to the Somenahalli project site.
Ethical and committed to maintaining financial confidentiality.
Familiarity with Kannada

Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and compliance.
Effective monitoring and control of construction expenses against contracts and budgets.
Timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.
Maintenance of cash flow to support ongoing project and operational needs.
Work Environment:
The Accounts Executive will work primarily from the Akshadhaa Assisted Living City Office in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru, with periodic travel to the Chikkaballapur site to validate financial processes and oversee
project-related financial controls.
